I hate updates...

Has anyone updated to 4.6.2? I hate updating so much, and I probably shouldn't. All those crusty max veterans make me scared of updating, but I've never had any real problems. How much does an incremental update do?

Keith, I think this update was created mainly for "MacTel" purposes. I got the update, but I can't really tell much of a difference in the performance. I was actually hoping it would let me get rid of my little "voice-krispies" problem I get every time I try to record into my laptop speakers. Maybe my laptop just has a shitty internal mic.

Jimmy, the internal mic is extremely lo-fi, it's not meant for doing quality audio work. If you want to try recording into your computer, download a driver for the m-audio firewire solo, and try plugging one of the labs' firewire interfaces into your own laptop, with the CAMIL lab mic. If you've already tried this and your audio still sounds bad, let me know.

O I know it's lo-fi, I was just wandering if the Rosetta app was causing audio drop-outs or something that would screw up even a quiet inoming signal.
